About Redding Area Writers
Redding Area Writers is a Writers' Group for writers of all kinds located in the Greater Redding, California area. We offer monthly meetings for Writers, Authors, and Creatives, who are working with their passion.
We help each other achieve goals by meeting and keeping each other on the top of our respective projects, encouraging each other, sharing our work and ideas, offering Constructive Criticism, educating and informing each other, and helping to make each other aware of tools, methods, techniques, and technologies.

Redding Area Writers plans to meet once a month on the 1st Saturday, for about one to two hours (or longer), usually in the later afternoon or evening, as location availability allows. The meetings last at least one hour, and often go over for those who can and want to stay longer, if the venue is available.
We welcome writers, authors, poets, artists, publishers, designers, playwrights, screenwriters, and creatives of all types. Works can be fiction of any genre, nonfiction, poetry, children's books, screenplays / scripts, plays, or others across the spectrum. Share your work, published or in-progress, ask for feedback, share information about all aspects of book publishing, and related subject areas, and generally interact with like-minded people in a friendly and supportive environment.
We are something of a sister group to our Chico, CA counterpart, Chico Writers' Mastermind Group.
We are now setup to allow our members to submit their Author and Book information and have it displayed on the website. See the menu above for viewing options and features. Contact us for instructions on how you can have your information displayed. It's fairly simple and easy, and it's free. (you could even use your Author page here as your default, official Author's Page if you do not have a separate website, and possibly even have a domain name directed to it to make it look more official)
